Thaddeus F. “Ted” Hulyo, 78

Thaddeus F. “Ted” Hulyo, 78, of Lititz passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Geraldine R. (Meckalavage) Hulyo to whom he was married for 56 years.
Born in Wilkes-Barre he was the son of the late Nicholas M. and Lottie (Pienta) Hulyo. Ted attended Kings College and was a retail banker and former manager with Fulton Bank for 42 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, small scale train collecting, working for the Manheim Auto Auction and served his country in the US Navy. Ted was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Lititz.
In addition to his wife Geraldine, he is survived by his five children LeeAnn, wife of James Harber, Jr. of Renovo, PA, Michael Hulyo husband of Julia of Lititz, Mark Hulyo husband of Pamela of Muncy, PA, Lisa, wife of Thomas Sprenkle of Middleburg, PA and John Hulyo husband of Tamara of Lancaster, PA; 12 grandchildren Joshua, Daniel, Kristen, William, Nicholas, Kyle, Caitlin, Kayla, Mitchell, Johnathan, Nathaniel and Peyton; six great-grandchildren Dylan, Elizabeth, Carly, Parker, Thea and Aislin; one sister Ann Hulyo of Palmyra, NJ. Thaddeus was preceded in death by a son Scott Hulyo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11AM from St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave. Lititz, PA 17543 with Fr. James O’Blaney, C.Ss.R as celebrant. Interment will be held privately in the Moravian Cemetery, Lititz. A visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of Mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.
