Dear John and Kathy,
I am so sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. I have fond memories of Nan’s kindness and welcoming personality whenever I would visit the Lutchkus home. She loved when John, Jim Sheaffer, Don Lentz and I would spend summer nights playing pinochle at her dining room table. Those nights were never about playing cards. It was Nan’s shear joy over our presence that made us want to be there and the memory of her joy and hospitality will last a lifetime for me.
