My heart goes out to the family.  She was a sweet person and will be sadly missed.  I knew her through Weis and saw her through this long battle.  The only ray of sunshine is she no longer suffers.

And I’m sure you all are a bit relieved that she is no longer suffering and she’s probably relaxing on the beach enjoying the things she loves. To My Brother Michael and his family:
I know we lost touch brother, I wish i could have known all my neices. I was there when Julie was an infant but Dad relocated us to Florida after i graduated school in 1975. Im so sorry i missed out on their lives. They seem like very wonderful young ladies. I read Kristie loved the beach and was a wonderful floral designer. Her and i would have got along very well if i could have been a part of her life. So sorry i never could know her as my neice and I her Aunt Marta. Another thing about her and me we both had to fight against breast cancer. So sorry she lost her fight!! I survived mine so far its been from 2012 and god is helping me to hang on!! Im so sorry for the loss of your daughter my brother. If you need anything Butch has my phone number. I would love to reconnect with u and meet my neices and their families. It was not my idea to move to Florida!!  We lost touch and i finally reconnected with Leanne a few years ago and i would love to see you again too!!  Gods Blessings to you and yours at this sad time in the loss of my neice!! Love to all, your forgotten sister, Marta Lynn.

I went to school with Kristie! She was a very beautiful person! Always smiling. . .never a dull moment. When i saw that she passed the other day, my heart dropped because not only was she a good friend, but my daughter is in her 1st stage of breast cancer and this is too close to home! I am sending my condolences out to her children and family!
