Condolences to the Family

Dear Nancy, Judi and Families:
Due to the flu I am unable to make it to the service for your mother and also have no addresses but did want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Bette was one of the friendliest persons I have ever known. When we moved here from Virginia in 1970 your parents were the first to meet and greet us at St. Paul Lutheran Church. They also were the first to invite us to an Open House in your home. We are Ohio Natives, and your Dad always joked, “Gloria, after 20 years, the People in Lititz will probably conclude that you are an o.k. person.” As we know, Lititz is no longer as conservative as it was then. They were wonderful people! I also knew Bette through teaching in Warwick School District. She was the same 24 hours a day and always so pleasant and kind to everyone. Hello to Lauren also – one of my former students, always pleasant memories of her.
I send my sympathy to all of you.
Gloria Anderson
