Kathryn R. Hollinger, 92

Kathryn R. Hollinger, 92, of Neffsville, passed away at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Monday, July 23, 2018. Born in Bareville, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Freeman. She was the wife of the late Elam G. Hollinger, who passed away in 2004.
Kathryn was employed in the Quality Control Department of R.R. Donnelley for 21 years, retiring in 1988. She was a longtime member of Lancaster Church of the Brethren. She had a special love of cats, and especially loved her pet cat, “Blossom.” She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, flower gardening, going to flea markets, and hummingbirds. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Kathryn is survived by her children Barbara Corbin, of Lancaster and Joanne Dyer, wife of Ronald, of Mount Joy; she is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Eileen Hollinger, of Lancaster; brother, Raymond Freeman, of Peach Bottom; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Kathryn was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Schwebel; son, E. Robert Hollinger; and 12 siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Friday, July 27, 2018, at Hoffer Auditorium, Pleasant View Retirement Community, 544 N. Penryn Rd., Manheim, PA 17545. Family and friends will be received for a viewing from 10AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Longenecker Cemetery, Lititz. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathryn’s memory may be made to Hospice for All Seasons, 280 S. Hill Dr., Grantville, PA 17028.
