We will all miss Barb very much. She was very close to us, like family, and was always interested in what we were doing. I have many, many fond memories of holiday visits, playing board games together, and eating so much wonderful food that we could barely leave the table! I will never forget these happy times and will always be thankful for them and for Barb’s love.

Julie, Anne, Beth, and Bob,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have some of the best memories spending time in the Burkhart house when I was young. It was only a bike ride away and your mom always made me feel welcomed. You are all in my thoughts and definitely in my prayers.

Barb was beautiful and Down to earth. I had the fortunate chance to work with her at the golf course. Many evenings we would be on parking lot duty together. We would laugh sometimes until our sides hurt. We talked about so many things. She will be greatly missed by so many! Mothers are some very special people, when they practice unconditional love. She was one of those. Her children have carried on her legacy of love and laughter. Gone, but never forgotten! We will be praying for Barb and her family. Lots of love, The Quinn Family

Dear July, Ann, Beth and Bobby.
Dale and I send you our deepest condolences on the loss of your extraordinary mother. We know that her memory will help heal the wounds from her loss. Memories like the mother’s love that took you all the way to Ireland, just so that you could absorb the culture of your heritage. That is a great love.
I met Barb when she was only four years old, and she has been my best friend ever since. The wonderful memories of growing through childhood with her are spinning in my mind. Her infectious laughter supported me in facing the joy and tribulations on Franklin Street. She was beside me during all life’s major events, Maid of Honor, Godmother, Spiritual Advisor, and Counselor. My heart is also broken.
