Timothy (Joey) Joseph Breen, 32

April 11, 2021

Timothy (Joey) Joseph Breen, 32, of Lancaster passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2021. The husband of Brenda Breen, Joey was the loving father of three children: Cooper, 10, John, 6, and Jorjeen, 4.

Born October 5, 1988 in Lancaster, PA, Joey is the son of Timothy E. Breen and Cherie (Rohrer) Breen. As an avid outdoorsman, Joey enjoyed being outside hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He was also a sports lover and was passionate about all Philadelphia Sports Teams. Bowling, golfing, and playing darts were his favorite sports to play. And he did play them all VERY well. His friends and family remember him as a caring and sociable person who could always bring a smile to anyone he spoke to.
Surviving in addition to his wife and children are his brothers, William (Bob) Breen, Daniel Breen married to Shawna Breen, and his sister, Tricia Subers married to Ryan Subers. Joey was also a special son to Jeff and Michele Trost of Willow Street and a brother to Alex Wettig of Lancaster. He is also survived by His Nephew Daniel Subers, and his Nieces Lauren Subers, Makenna Breen, Charli Breen and Zoe Bush.

A private burial service will take place at a later date to exclusive family and friends.

Tim,
Very sorry to hear of Joe’s passing.  I remember when he was born and how funny he was during our fantasy draft day when you lived on  S West End Avenue.  A chip off the old block.  To live in one’s heart is never to die.

To the Breen Family,
I met Joey within this past year so I didn’t know him well though he and my kids are friends. However, in that short time he impressed me as a fun-loving, kind, funny, children-adoring person.  I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Joey.  I  hope your memories and the good stories you have centering around Joey will bring you some comfort and more than a little peace.

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Breen family for the passing of Joey. His presence and smile always lite up the room. The love in his heart for his children was evident. I talked to Joey in length about life’s struggles, I wish I could have helped more. His quirky antics and dedication to our dart team made him an awesome teammate that would encourage all of us to perform better. Rest well my friend ❤️ 🙏 😢
