I knew Richard years ago when we both worked for “the agency”. I was just fresh out of college and wet behind the ears and probably would not have survived my first year without Richard’s help. He was always willing to help me not only with work questions but, preparing for the horrid CPA exam which at that time was an in-person, all parts at one time test.
Richard was truly a class act – a genuinely nice guy who offered advice to this youngster without being condescending or conceited. I have many fond memories of jobs we worked on and advice he offered and I know he was a truly good person so he is resting in peace.
To his daughters and family I offer my sincerest condolences and heartfelt prayers.

Our thoughts are with you. Richard handled our taxes for over 20 years in addition to taxes for our siblings and friends. He was such a nice man and we enjoyed talking with him over the years.

Mr. Miller was such a wonderful gentleman. He was a consummate professional and such a kind man. Our chats after we finished our tax talk always were filled with laughter and shared thoughts and good will, even when discussing politics. He will be missed and he will be remembered. I offer my deepest sympathy to his beloved daughters.

RoxAnn and I were owners of Colonial News for 22 years until 2019. Mr Miller ( I always referred to him as that) was our accountant for most of those years. Both he and Pat always took more than just a business interest in our little company, and he provided guidance to us that would sometimes be beyond the scope of things one would normally expect from ” your accountant “. He always found a way to make our interactions feel professional and personal at the same time. He often kidded me that if we were looking to do something that was slightly out on a limb, it better be strong enough to support us both!! Mr.Miller was a very good soul and will be missed . My family has your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest symphony for your loss. Always enjoyed “tax season” with your dad. We knew we would discuss many things during his visit. We learned about your parents trips to the Big Cat Preserve in Florida. We spent a wonderful day there with friends who live close. We will miss his humor.
