Jasmine Michelle Spriggs, 34

March 18, 1987 - December 01, 2021

Jasmine M. Spriggs, 34, fiancée of Terrell Lawrence Manning, Sr., of Harrisburg, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2021, at her home in Harrisburg, PA. Born in Lancaster, she was the beloved daughter of Leon Spriggs of Harrisburg, and Natalie (Payne) Bates, wife of Kenneth Bates of Lancaster. Jasmine was a loving mother to her three beautiful children, Azaria Washington, Terrell Manning, Jr., and Mia Amour Manning.

Jasmine graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School with the Class of 2005. She attended college and was working on a degree in Criminal Justice. Most recently, she worked from home for Highmark Insurance and cared for her children.

Jasmine loved her family. She was always the glue that kept us all together. Her smile was so infectious and she lit up a room when she entered it. There is nothing in the world she wouldn’t do for her children and the love of her life, her fiancée Terrell Manning. She loved doing arts and crafts and decorating her home. She made the shirts for every occasion. She was a wonderful, loving, giving person and everyone loves her. We may have lost a daughter, fiancée, mother, sister, aunt and friend, but heaven gained another angel. We will see you again Jasmine.

Along with her parents, fiancée and children, Jasmine is survived by her sisters, Nicole Payne of Baltimore, MD, Danielle Payne of Lancaster and Theresa Matthews of Enola, PA; brothers Charles J. Matthews, Jr. of Lancaster, and Michael Lawrence, husband of Krystal of Los Angeles, CA; her niece, Natalie Sheeka Payne who was like a sister to her; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Nathaniel and Betty Jayne Payne, an aunt Theresa Johnson, and a cousin Tanya Johnson.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Jasmine’s final resting place will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery in Lancaster.

It hurts to know this even happened. She was a super sweetheart. Beautiful soul… I thought she was living life? Married? A family? Career?I haven’t heard from her in awhile. She’s like my sister. The love is always there. This fucked me up just now. What the fuck happened? Shit is crazy.
