He was a hardworking professional in the mobile home building industry. He was the Service Manager for Skyline Corporation for many years and continued to work part time after retirement for Clark Associates.

He enjoyed traveling and attending jazz festivals with his father in Elkhart, IN. He also had a great admiration for his uncle’s vintage car collection.
He became a top fuel drag racing enthusiast in the 1960’s. His passion allowed him to travel around the United States. He moved to Los Angeles, CA where he discovered his love for Nostalgia front-engine dragsters. He learned how to fix, build and drive them. Later he went on to build his own.

Friends and Relatives are invited to attend his memorial service at 3:00PM on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at The Charles S. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home, at 3110 Lititz Pike Lititz, PA 17543. The visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service.

Cory and family, our condolences to you for your loss of Ed from the Lewis Family at Maple Grove Raceway. In the early 70’s Ed drove our top fuel dragster and later was our crew as we raced all over the east. Ed worked hard and never missed a chance to be on the road with us. We enjoyed our time together at the drag races. Rest in peace, Ed!
