Condolences to the Family

I worked at York Art Association more than a decade ago. Last year I realized I repeatedly had not seen any of Denny’s works in exhibits lately and sadly just saw why. He was kind and his gifts were incredible. What an inspiration he provided to so many. I am so sad for your loss.

I send my love to Denny’s family. I just learned of his passing in the PWCS newslettter. He encouraged me when I was just returning to painting after a long absence. I greatly admired his work, and I always valued his opinion. A kind and generous man who touched many lives.

To the Bond family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies on the unexpected and too soon passing of Denny. I got to know Denny briefly when I did an internship while attending York Academy of Arts at McCLay Shoemaker Advertising on West Orange St where Denny was the art director. As a fellow “budding” illustrator I recognized Denny’s amaing talents as the agency’s in-house illustrator and artist and he was always very open and helpful to me as I had many questions for him and much to learn during my time at the agency.
I followed his career and was impressed with his many artistic achievements as an outstanding watercolorist and admired his dedication to his art. It was obvious he loved what he did and it doesn’t surprise me that he had that same dedication and love for his family.
