Kenny Lee Cummings, 76
January 02, 2024
Kenny Lee Cummings, age 76, of Manheim, passed away at his residence on January 2, 2024. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late J. Stanley Baker and Betty Machmer Cummings Traser.
Kenny was a lifelong Manheim resident and attended Manheim Central High School. He served in the Navy on the USS Okinawa from 1964-66 and continued in the reserves for four more years. He worked as an assistant foreman for the Manheim Borough until he became disabled. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1990. He was a part of Stephen’s Ministry and took continuing education classes at Lancaster Bible College. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending time fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed playing pool at Gretna Springs with his friends. He loved to make people laugh and never took life too seriously. Even with his failing health, he continued to make the doctors and nurses laugh. He was loved by all.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet M. Cummings of Manheim; his children Debra Fritz Stoltz, Jill (Solomon) Stone and J. Scott Bender; his grandchildren: Jordin (Chrissy) Stoltz, Brock (Allison) Stoltz, Taylor Stoltz (fiancé Jason Driendl), Kai Stone, Shea Stone, Niko Stone and Theodora Carbaugh; three great grandchildren and one arriving in April; his brothers Richard (Pat) Cummings and Anthony (Jean) Cummings; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by his son Kerry Fritz, Jr. and his brother Rodney Cummings.
A graveside service with military honors will occur on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 3pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A funeral procession will depart from Spacht Snyder Funeral Home, 127 S. Broad St., Lititz, PA. 17543 promptly at 1:15pm.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Kenny. My condolence to his family. We were in the same class in school and did some hunting together in our younger years. Great to hear he accepted the Lord in 1990. Rest in peace brother, see you on the other side. A fellow veteran….Jim Miller

Aunt Jan, Deb, Jill, and family
We are so sorry for your loss and are praying for you during this difficult time. I know the last few years have been difficult with Uncle Kenny’s failing health, but may you have comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and he is in his heavenly home. His jokes, teasing, and smiles will be missed by all.
Although we live far apart, your family will always hold a special place in my heart. I still cherish the years we spent growing up together having fun at Distelfink campground: bingo, dances, swimming, mini-golf, pinochle, board games, riding bike, dinners, and campfires. Those are bonds and memories that are held close and never fade. All our love and prayers.
Cherie’, Doug, and Ian
