Valentine L. Rodriguez, 43
January 10, 2024
Valentine L. Rodriguez, 43, of Harrisburg, formerly of Columbia, passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2024. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of Peggy Rosa and the late Valentin Rodriguez. He was married to Amanda (Taddy) Rodriguez.
His smile was contagious, and he always went out of his way to make others laugh. He was a jokester at heart. Valentine was very intelligent, excelling in anything he set his mind to and enjoyed writing and producing music. Most importantly, he was dedicated to his faith and the Bible. He enjoyed memorizing scripture and teaching others the word of God.
Valentine is survived by his wife Amanda; mother, Peggy; children: Braylon Rodriguez, Allyana Rodriguez, and Gabriel Rodriguez; a stepdaughter, Josalyn Taddy, and siblings: Jezel Rosa-Hiligoss, wife of Aaron, Leanette Morris, and Camille Rodriguez.
The family will receive guests for a casual visitation honoring Valentine on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St. Millersville, PA 17551 from 5 – 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be given to the funeral home to assist Valentine’s family with the funeral expenses.

Luis,(cousin) nobody can understand why God took you or even begin to question why. From the memories we have of you, you were always funny, you always made jokes, even when nobody was joking (lol) you would say random things and not even care what anyone thought, you were definitely one of a kind, it’s what we loved about you, it’s who your character was, a bold guy.. you had great heart.
Many times you send me messages to pray for you and we had long chats about God, you would always say you felt better afterwards. I would speak the word of God to you and it comfort your soul to want to do what’s right in God’s eyes regardless of what anyone thought about you from the outer appearance, God only knew your heart.
You was a sweet, caring, funny, and loving soul. Memories always last a lifetime. You were the best cousin anyone could ask for. You created a beautiful family, your memories live on through their eyes and left an impact on all of us. Until we all meet again in Paradise, keep abuela and my dad company in Heaven with our saviour Jesus Christ. Rest in Paradise cousin, you will be missed but never forgotten.
I love you titi Peggy, & my cousins may God heal your heart.
Love Mindy
