Diane, I believe we worked together at Good ‘n Plenty in the Bakery a number of years ago. I have wondered how you were over the years and am so sorry to see Joe’s obituary. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your son & his wife.

I retired from the fire department in the City. Joe used to come to the station to fix something that he had a work order for. He was always such a kind and friendly person. We invited him to sit down and have coffee several times; usually he was too busy. Quite often, we’d tell Joe something else was not working but didn’t have a work order yet. He would promptly fix it and tell us to put in the paperwork and note already fixed. Very nice gentleman, so sorry for your loss.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Joe. We graduated and had numerous classes together at LCHS. He was one of the good guys. I saw him last when he was a customer at the Post Office Window and mention working for the city was the best job he ever. Too live in one’s heart is never to die. With Deepest Regrets.

I had the good fortune to work with Joe when he was the city electrician. He was always a thoughtful, cordial, and consummately professional and conscientious coworker. He always went above and beyond the call of duty to keep our aging fire stations fully functional. It was often an uphill battle, but he was ever the ‘happy warrior’ and was never deterred from getting the job done!
May many fond memories of Joe console you at this sad time. Take comfort in knowing that many others held Joe in very high regard and share your sorrow at his passing.
