Rosalind E. Braunstein, 83

Rosalind E. Braunstein, 83, passed away surrounded by family. Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Steinberg) and Herbert Leavy. Rosalind was the beloved wife of Richard H. Braunstein, with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage.
A dedicated member of Temple Beth El, Rosalind was a skilled bridge player, achieving the rank of Gold Life Master alongside her husband. She also enjoyed playing Words with Friends and was a Romance Language major in college. A talented baker, she won over 30 ribbons for her creations.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, and her children: Phyllis Boland of E. Rockaway, NY; Arlene Wechsler, wife of Steven, of NY; Robert Braunstein, husband of Jeanne, of Millville, PA; Jonathan Braunstein, husband of Brandi, of Wapakoneta, OH; and Michelle Braunstein, companion of Joseph Motella, of Glendale, AZ; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren as well as her sister Barbara Bruckenstein.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the Spacht Snyder Family Funeral Home, 127 S. Broad Street, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received from 11:45 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Beth El Cemetery, Newport Road, Lititz, PA 17543.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or Epilepsy Foundation of America, P.O. Box 1573, Washington, DC 20077-4387.

To : Richard and all your children,we are deeply saddened for your loss. We have known both of you for over 35 years, attended all the kids’ weddings, one bar mitzvah, one sader and countless enjoyable weekends with Roz and you. Richard, My condolences on the loss of your dear Ros. She had so many health issues that you both had to deal with and you were both so patient and caring of each other. I’ll always remember you’re bridge partnership and willingness to share your knowledge with your “opponents”. After 62 years together, you will have a big whole in your life.
