April 20, 2025
Jacquelyn A. Sheaffer, 81, of Lancaster, peacefully entered into rest on April 20, 2025. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and the beloved daughter of the late Frank G. and Edna M. Sheaffer and sister of the late Frank G. Sheaffer Jr.
A lifelong Lancaster resident, Jackie was known for her strong work ethic and kind heart. She dedicated 21 years of service to Kerr Glass before retiring from Stauffer of Kissel Hill on Oregon Pike. Jackie also gave back to her community by volunteering at local election polls and working for the Lancaster Barnstormers.
Jackie had a love for life’s simple joys. She enjoyed shopping, watching sports, and had a special fondness for Teddy Bears and classic cars. Her faith was important to her, and she was a member of both Faith Calvary Church and Faith Bible Fellowship.
In keeping with Jackie’s wishes, no public services will be held. She will be laid to rest at Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery.
Her loved ones extend heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Abbeyville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and also Geneva Hospice for their care and support.
