Jordan J. Bullock, 20

Jordan J. Bullock, 20, of 207 Providence Place, Mountville, died Monday in Lancaster.

Born in Lancaster, Jordan was the son of L. Jay Bullock III of Mountville, and Cheryl A. Hefft, wife of Milton S. Hefft of Lancaster.

He had been working at the Friendlys Restaurant on Rt. 30 while setting up his own marketing business, the JWay Group at Gallery 141 on Water St.  Known for his positive and engaging personality, he was someone that could talk to anyone.

Jordan had attended Lancaster Christian School K4 to 8th grade, was a 2003 graduate of Hempfield High School and had attended classes at the Lancaster campus of  HACC.  He had played basketball in middle school at Lancaster Christian, and at Hempfield, was a member of the chess team, and tutored elementary students in math and science. He played both basketball and soccer with the Hempfield Youth Association.

He attended Calvary Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Zachary W. Bullock of Lancaster, maternal grandparents G. Wayne and Donna Bonsell of Lancaster, and paternal grandparents Larry and Jessie Bullock of Lancaster. Jordan is also survived by his maternal great grandmother Rhella “Mema” Bonsell of Tyrone, PA, his uncle, Dr. Joshua Bonsell of New York, NY, and his aunt, Laurie Holley of Tucson, AZ.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 9-10:30AM at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Rd., Lancaster, PA, with the funeral service to follow in the chapel at 10:30AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Jordan Bullock Memorial Fund, c/o Lancaster Christian School, 651 Lampeter Rd., Lancaster, PA  17602.
