Richard L. Bowen
Richard L. (Pop Pop) Bowen 67, of 917 Columbia Ave, Lancaster, Pa ,who battled Parkinson disease for 27 years, died peacefully on December 22, 2006. Born in Paris, Illinois, he was the son of the late Tommy and Freda Bowen. He would have been married 50 years in June to Joan Mish Bowen. Mr. Bowen was an executive with Donnelly Printing Company for 36 years and retired from Bon Ton. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lancaster. Everyone who knew Pop Pop knew about his ponies….hope you find your pony in heaven.
Surviving besides his wife are seven children: Kevin husband of Lisa Bowen of State College, PA., Deborah Dusel of Lancaster, Cynthia wife of Gregory Ashekian of Lancaster, Cheryl wife of Jack Kremer of Lancaster, Randall Bowen of Lancaster, Marilyn Miller of Lancaster, Chris Jones of Lancaster, ten grandchildren: Austin Bowen, Hope, Toni, Noelle, Dominic Dusel, Morgan, Makenzie Ashekian, Myles Makaila, Cobi, Nikki Kremer, and four sibling. He was preceded in death by a son Tommy Robert Bowen.
A graveside service will be held at St Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Charles Road, Bausman, Pa. on Friday , January 5th, 2007 at 2:00PM. Please omit flowers.
