Condolences to the Family

Dear family of Miss Leaman,
I wanted to reach out to you to tell you how much I loved your sister/ aunt. She was my first grade teacher at James Buchanan in the school year 1957-1958. She was my favorite teacher throughout my whole educational years. I cannot count how many people I have told during my lifetime that Miss Leaman was my favorite teacher. In 1973 I was so blessed to have started my own teaching career in first grade. I remember writing to her and asking for her advise.I valued her opinion a great deal. It was my joy to have had the opportunity to visit with her about 6 years ago. How thrilled I was to know that she remembered me and could name many of my classmates. She not only was a loving and compassionate teacher, but one of the most kind, gentile women I have had the pleasure of knowing. I share is your sorrow of her passing, but rejoice in knowing that she is safely in the arms of our Lord. May God bless your family. Barbara Charles
