Aida Elsa Banchs Ruiz de Rodriguez, of Ponce, Puerto Rico, born on January 6th, 1930, married to Pastor Rodriguez (of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico) went to be with the Lord on November 30th, 2017. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, lived a full life until the age of 87. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and most of all, being around her family. Innovative and creative, her talents were endless. Her kindness, compassion and loyalty impacted every life around her. To know her, was to love her. A viewing will be held at Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home, 127 S. Broad St. Lititz, PA 17543 on Sunday December 3rd, 2017 from 11AM-1PM & 4PM-6PM and Monday, December 4th, 2017 from 10AM-12PM. Funeral services will begin at 12PM and burial will follow at Witness Park, Lititz, PA.

Elsa was not only a neighbor but a confidant, mentor, counselor, and teacher – she was amazing. Her cooking was “out of this world” . We lived side-by-side for more than 30 years. She was family. Her demise has left a void in our world. May she rest in peace.
