Anna Mary Miller, 90

Anna Mary Miller, 90, of Millersville, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Mt. Joy Hospice Center.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Vogt) Gibbons.  Anna was married for 54 years to the late Charles E. Miller.

Anna was a member of a monthly card club with many of her friends.  She was a member of Ross Street United Methodist Church, St. John Neumann Seniors, AARP of Lancaster, and the Twalkers of Park City.  She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.

Surviving is a daughter: Gloria Meadows, wife of David, of Millersville; three sons: Charles P. Miller, husband of Debbie, of Neffsville, John E. Miller, husband of Robin, of Mountville and Michael K. Miller, husband of Sally, of Lititz.  She was the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by her cat, Smokey.  She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Abby Miller.

A memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602 with Pastor Roseann Goldberg officiating.  Family and friends will be received from 11-12 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, Lancaster Chapter, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.  To send the family online condolences, please visit SnyderFuneralHome.com.
