Anna R. Valori, 93

Anna R. Valori, 93, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, April 06, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Sophia (Gergus) Kapish. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Valori who passed away in 1984.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
She is survived by three sons, John, Jack and Michael, and one daughter, Barbara, wife of Ross Eckman Jr. She is also survived by her beloved granddaughter, Courtney Eckman, fiancé of Michael Rafter. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
The family would like to thank Hospice & Community Care for the care and compassion that was given to Anna, and offer another huge thank you to Michael, her son, who was there with Anna throughout her illness.
A Viewing will be held from 7-9 PM on Monday, April 10, 2017, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 8:30PM. Interment will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster, on Tuesday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anna’s memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.

Nan was a wonderful, loving lady. We will always rember her laughs and big hugs. She gave us many wonderful memories, the fun times and laughs at the softball games, parties at Barb and Ross’s house. She will be dearly missed. Go Phillies!!! I know you will be watching them. Prayers to Barb, Ross and Court and her family, you are in our thoughts.
