Arlette Louise Stine, 61

Arlette Louise Stine, 61, of Quarryville, passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on November 14, 2024. Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Barry and Geraldine Smeltzer. She was married 12 years to her beloved husband Kenneth E. Stine.
Arlette was a graduate of Red Lion High School and received an associate’s degree from York College. She worked in the technology department for Hempfield School District as an administrative assistant until her retirement. Arlette will be affectionately remembered for her laugh, smile, and zest for life. She would always put others before herself and enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, fishing, and rooting for the Steelers.
In addition to her husband Ken, she is survived by 6 children: Matthew Baptisti (Alicia), Christopher Stine (Alexa Smith), Nathan Stine (Eileen), Susan Colello, Steven Haas, and Sarah Haas; 6 grandchildren: Ava, Alex, Nila, Nova, Renesme, and Destany; and 2 dogs, Wilbur and Molly.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Arlette’s name to American Cancer Society, cancer.org.

I was so shocked to hear of my cousin Arlette passing. I had just been with her at my Dad s funeral svc and reception in March. I cherish my memories growing up together. Thoughts and Prayers for her husband Ken and son Matthew and family. May God find you comfort and peace knowing she is a shining star in heaven. Rest in peace dear Arlette😢🙏🥰😇

Arlette was a joy to work with. I have missed her since she retired and was very saddened to hear of her passing. Peace to her friends and family.

Unbelievably sad! Such a dear, sweet and kind person!! We were fortunate to have her as neighbor, but she became so much more! Part of our family! Always there for us! Godmother to our daughters. Just a lovely person! She will truly truly miss by a lot of people! God rest your soul Arlette! Fly with the Angels. Until we meet again, dear lady…..
