To the Family of Arun Mallik,
I was only recently informed of the recent passing of your husband, father, and grandfather. I had the privilege of hiring Arun early in the years of the opening of the Lancaster County Office of Aging. I greatly enjoyed the years that I worked with Arun, always appreciating his great accounting expertise, thoroughness in all his work, and a great sense of loyalty and support that he provided to me and the organization. During those early years I also gained an appreciation for his great love, interest, and concern for each of you as a part of his supportive family.
I pray that in this time of loss you will have fond memories of his love, devotion, and care for each of you and that you will have great peace that only God can provide in this time of loss. May you seek Him, know Him, and love Him more as you seek His comfort during these difficulty times.
Sincerely,
Peter Dys
Previous Executive Director, Lancaster County of Office

I liked Arun’s open and casual manner and oftentimes his relaxed pose. It was fun to hear him relate that in his personal time he would now and then be “roaming around here and there” mostly, of course, with his family. I enjoyed seeing at Snyder’s the screen show of photos many of which were from places and times with which I was not familiar but showing Arun in various interesting settings. Existence has now come full circle. Best wishes to his family for future fulfillment. Stan Szalak (co-worker from county government)
