Audrey A. Nettleton, 71
July 20, 2024
Audrey A. Nettleton, 71, of Strasburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on July 20, 2024. Born and raised in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Glenn V. Sr. and Audrey M. Eshleman. She recently celebrated her 51st wedding anniversary with her husband Paul R. Nettleton.
Many will remember Audrey from her careers ranging from being a dept. manager at Watt & Shand, working for the now retired, Dr. Oxenberg, and being a clown at birthday parties. In her free time, she enjoyed making home cooked meals for her family, sewing, bird watching/identifying, collecting pictures and stuffed cows, gardening, and visiting the beach. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Audrey will be sorely missed by her loving husband Paul, their children, Abi Fried (Andrew) of Willow Street, Matt Nettleton (Jess) of W. Hempfield, and Darren Nettleton (Kim) of Mountville, grandchildren, Nate, Carter, Lili, Morgan, Brielle, and Coleton, and siblings, Tom Eshleman of Mountville, and Heather McCarty (Christopher) of Lancaster. She was preceded in passing by her brother, Glenn Eshleman Jr., in March.
A Celebration of Life Service honoring Audrey will be held at 2 PM on Monday, July 29, at Grace Community Church of Willow Street, 212 Peach Bottom Rd. Willow Street, PA 17584. A viewing will be held at the church from 1 PM until the time of service. Interment to follow at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. To honor Audrey, the family encourages red flowers to be sent to the service.

Oh my goodness, Paul! I’m so sorry. I know you said she wasn’t feeling well but I did not know it was to this degree. I’m shocked! May God grant you his peace as you go through these deep waters! I love you, brother.

Just got on facebook after seeing our service online. And discovered the passing of Audrey. I am so sorry for your loss, but knowing we will see her again is such a comfort. Lots of memories in the past. But my biggest memory was her laughter and a bright cheerful smile. Know I will keep you in prayer. Staying focused of the joy you have knowing she is in heaven with our Lord and Savior!! 🙏🙏💕💕

Sorry for your loss Paul Nettleton, and your family. Lost of a wife and a mother is losing a special gift that be remembered for years. But she’s a little girl now, and sitting on Jesus Christ lap with her family and friends. She has been blessed to the Open house of God’s house. My prayers for your family and friends.
