I was so very saddened to hear about the loss of Bev. Bev, Harry and Michael were our neighbors in Duluth, MN through my entire childhood. The memories I have of them are truly endless. When they’d travel I’d get to watch the cats which was my favorite! At one point they got the sweetest pup, Mr. Moon, and we ended up with his sister. Japanese Chins are the best. 🙂 Being able to go outside and know Mr. Moon and Harry were out there made everyday better.
Bev would bring back so many gifts from their travels and shells were my favorite. My bathroom decor to this day includes the shells that Bev brought back from trips and I still have a storage container of my shell collection including all of of the shells she brought back for me. Then every Christmas have such fond memories of the cookie tray, oh my goodness, the coooookies! We reminisce about her Christmas cookies and peanut brittle to this day and on occasion try and make some of her recipes.
I was able to visit Harry in Bev in Green Valley while I was in AZ for a work trip many years back which was so very special. She was still very actively swimming back then so after her swim I arrived and we went out for a nice meal and I got to see their home. Harry passed not too long after we had that visit.
Bev has always been such a special person in my life and I knew she always anxiously awaited the day I’d get married and have children. After many, MANY years we got there and we finally have our miracle baby boy who she just sent a gift to to start his college fund. Oh how I wish she could have met him!
I am so sorry for your loss and we send our deepest sympathies.

To the Family of Beverly,
My heart was saddened when I heard of Beverly’s passing. I always looked forward to her coming into the church office to help with bulletins on Thursdays. We always had the best conversations. Her cookies were amazing and always looked forward to whatever she baked and brought in to me. She will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss. Anita Kissinger

I was so saddened to hear of Beverly’s passing! She was one-of-a-kind and will be missed greatly by her church family. She had an amazing sense of humor and was the best cookie maker of all time! We will certainly keep you all in our prayers this holiday season.
