Brandon Scott Bradley II, 17

August 2, 2007 - November 10, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Brandon Scott Bradley II announces his passing on November 10, 2024, at the age of 17. Born in Lancaster, on August 2, 2007, Brandon was the beloved son of Brandon and Virginia Bradley; and brother to Taylore, Autumn and Nathan Bradley. Brandon was a senior at Elizabethtown Area High School.

Brandon had a “vintage” soul, a kind, tender heart and he loved deeply. He was strong-willed and stood up for what he believed in. He lived in the moment, and embraced the here and now.

Brandon loved music with a passion, it was a part of him. It was rare to see him without his headphones around his neck. He loved nature, animals, and being outdoors. He loved the beach, where he spent many of his birthdays with his family. He enjoyed exploring, taking walks, fishing, sitting by the creek with a book and taking pictures. Brandon had a way of capturing the beauty in nature; from a bumblebee, to the Northern Lights. He loved his pets, especially his tiny dog Maeve. Brandon enjoyed thrifting for vintage clothes and had a style all his own. Thoughtful and compassionate, he would be the first to hold open a door or relocate a spider safely outdoors.

Brandon made an impact on all who knew him. The space he leaves will never be filled, but his light will shine on, his memory will not fade, and his spirit will surround us. We will celebrate Brandon, and through that he will live on.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Brandon’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the funeral home from 12-2pm with a celebration of life service at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you perform an act of kindness in Brandon’s honor.

Condolences to the Family

December 11, 2024

Dear Bradley Family, we know you through the caregiving of Virginia.  Several times I referred to her as the woman with kind hands.  Equlally often I shared the thought, “We live on in the lives of those who we have touched with our soul.”  It seems to be a a family thing, for in the photos of memory there is much touching and holding.
But the effect also works in reverse.  Soumething precious dies in ua when a person we touched with our soul dies.  All the empathy of our hearts are with you in grief at this time of tormwnt.  Very quickly I detected something soulful in your wife/mother.  This sacred component is clearly a quality of the entire family, a sensitivity and appreciation for life.  The description of Brandon in the obituary I early perceived in his mother, who repeatedly embraced you.
I will always associate flowers, crowns of creation, with Brandon in the soulful embrace of his family.  With each touch of kindness, it is he who still touches life.  Yes, flowers for the beauty of love and kindness of touch for the living presence of one we loved so much that we remain in pain.
Reachong out to all,
Great grandfather Eugene Clemens, 91 years old.

It is with much sadness that I learn of Brandon’s passing.  His kind and thoughtful soul always
contributed to the camaraderie of PE class.  I enjoyed and looked forward to having a conversation with Brandon. He was an active listener and asked insightful questions.  His interactions with teachers and peers were respectful had empathy, compassion, and willingness to consider others’ perspectives.
I wish you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.

Sending my heartfelt condolences during this most difficult time. My daughter was a friend and classmate of Brandons. She speaks fondly of him and will cherish the memories they shared. She showed me a picture he drew and gave to her. He was a talented artist. She has been so deeply impacted by this loss as he clearly enriched her life in many ways.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and as a fellow community member I am here to show support. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to ease your pain or bring you comfort…a prepared meal, a listening ear.
May Brandon’s light shine on and be a guide to all who loved him…to all he touched in some way. Peace be with you!
