Dearest Brenda…..I always loved you….you always were so very special to me…ever since childhood you were one of my favorite “older” cousins 🙂  Always so very loving and fun.  You were always so thoughtful sending cards just to say, “thinking of you and praying for you”  a simple gesture on your behalf but so monumental on ours…..The world has lost a bright star when God’s angels ushered you home to the loving embrace of God……but I know you will be shining down on all of us…and your spirit will be forever with your loved ones…
Love, Rachel

My one great memory of Brenda was, she always stuck up for the under dog.    She always had compassion for the ones that people picked on.     I have other memories too, but this is the one that  I always remember.     We were together at our 50th class reunion, in August, and had a wonderful time.     Our general section girls, all sat together, reminisced and laughed together.     I am so glad she came to the reunion.     The Lord knew it was meant to be.     As I said to Peggy at Linda’s funeral,  “your mother raised nice children”.    The strife is oe’r, the battle is won.   May you rest in the arms of our Lord and Saviour.
