Condolences to the Family

Dear family of Brenda Reedy…the only memories we have of Brenda are pure and loving smiles. She smiled and loved with her whole heart and soul. She was known in the Scibal household as our Mrs. Reedy. She was the Religious Released Time teacher of our son Art and  her love made such an impression on him. We now live in Kentucky but remember the Christmas Vigil Services when she’d attend and the joy she expressed to us. While we all remember her blessings to us and feel an emptiness here we know the Church Triumphant is rejoicing her arrival! Hugs from the Scibal family….Gary, Cyndy, Kate ( Hendrix) and Art.

Tim, Mark and Matt,
So sorry to learn of your mother’s passing.  Brenda and I first knew each other at Penn Manor, and then spent many years together when your dad and I were pursuing politics. Brenda was always a strong presence throughout those years and contributed greatly to the community and the county.  She will be deeply missed.

To the Reedy and Houghton family
May all the happy memories that you have of Brenda be a source of comfort in the days ahead.   I know I cherish all my memories.
To the grandchildren:
You were the apple of her eyes.   When I visited her,  she would tell me the latest news of what was happening in your life.   She was super proud of all of you.
As we adjust to life without Brenda [mom, grandma and sister and aunt) may you feel  The Lord going before you each day.
And the Lord,  He is the One who goes before you.   He will be with you,  He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.
Deuteronomy 31:8

My sincere sympathy to Brenda’s family and friends on her passing.  I regret that I have not seen or talked with Brenda for many years. We used to look forward to our Saturday evenings at the Youth For Christ services and many times helping with the job of ushering prior to the service.  We had some wonderful times as young teanagers but unfortunately as we aged we lost contact with each other.  My deepest sympathies to those of you who were still active in Dear Brenda’s life.  May God bless you and help you through these days of sorrow.
Sincerely, An old friend and classmate,
Marian (Heller) Hallman
