Brett Michael Lowe, 35
April 26, 2024
Brett Michael Lowe, 35, of Manheim unexpectedly passed on Friday, April 26, 2024, at his home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Gary L. Lowe companion of Pam Diem, and Brenda L. Kauffman Lowe companion of Curt D. Casciano. He was a graduate of Manheim Township High School where he played soccer. Brett worked for UPS, and formerly worked at Richter Precision, East Petersburg. An avid Hockey fan, Brett loved nothing more than the New Jersey Devils and was a season ticket holder who always fiercely rooted for his favorite team. He had a green thumb, enjoyed attending concerts, and loved to play Hockey on Sundays while also making time to watch the Vikings. Growing up Brett and his family had many fond memories of taking trips to Florida. He will fondly be missed by his dogs, Locke, Raider, Hila and is now reunited with his girl Evey. Brett was everyone’s sunshine and his contagious laugh will forever be missed but cherished by those who knew him.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his girlfriend, Lianna M. Mowrer, a brother, Brandon M. Lowe, a sister, Tiffany L. Riedel, and a maternal grandmother, Betty M. Kauffman, along with numerous aunts and uncles. Preceding him in death is his maternal grandfather, Omar S. Kauffman, and paternal grandparents, Chester E. and Catherine M. Lowe.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting any donation towards the future comfort of Brett and Lianna’s small family, as well as this unexpected unfortunate event. Donations can be sent via Venmo to @Brandon-Lowe-20 (preferably) or if you’re more comfortable sending via GoFundMe “In Loving Memory of Brett”

I first met Brett back in 2012 at ACMoore when we had worked together and what started the conversation was we both realized we went to the same school Manheim Township. It wasn’t long before we became close and became friends. His personality lit up a room and he was always smiling, laughing, and he was just fun to be around. It’s so sad that he was taken from us at such a young age. Brett was my best friend for so many years and he will definitely be missed. Sending prayers, thoughts, and my condolences to the family during this time.

To the family of Brett, I am so sorry for such a great loss that the family is dealing with. Can’t even comprehend losing a child so young. I think of ( Gary, Brenda and Connie) quite often. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that knew this family. I pray that God gives you all the strength you need to get through this. Hold on to all the great memories that you have made over the years, life is way too short!!!

I’d only met Brett a year or so ago, but he quickly made an impression. We would often be the first two skaters to arrive at sunday morning hockey and shared quite a few laughs while we waited for everyone else to get dressed. He was also very kind to my son, Wes, who he would often skate with before the game and between periods. The rest of us old men were tired quickly and needed our breaks, but he had all the motor and could just keep going full speed the whole time. He is too young to be gone, we will all miss him very much at the rink. I wish I could skate another match with or against him, he was gracious either way. Truly a Fairview legend.
