Carlene K. Shenberger, 64

Carlene K. Shenberger, 64, of Manheim, passed away at Penn State Health Medical Center on Saturday, June 22, 2024. She was the loving wife of Bruce Shenberger, with whom Carlene celebrated 35 years of marriage and enjoyed 6 years together before that.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Emma R. (Deverter) Dommel.

Carlene worked with Bruce at Amerimax Home Products off Columbia Avenue for 35 years. She loved her cats, Boyds Bears, and Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved spending time with family.

In addition to Bruce, Carlene’s family includes her sister Lisa J., wife of Philip Hartman of Lititz, her brother Vaughn J. Dommel, husband of Carmen of Street, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private.

Bruce, thank you for stopping by the store and letting me know about Carlene’s passing. We were great friends for years and I was always so happy when we would run into each other. People travel different paths and im so happy we spent so much time together in our younger years. I think it was a blessing to have seen you both not to long ago. Carlene will always hold a special place in my heart. I will always remember her. My deepest condolences to you and your families.

Only God knows… but he also knows that I am gonna miss you so much. Ill be forever grateful knowing you are my aunt and how much you loved and cared about me.  Always encouraged me. Carlene was a very caring person with her family and everyone she worked alongside. She had a great smile and laugh. So sorry for her passing. I will always remember her.

I am so sorry to hear about Carlene’s passing. I remember her smile and her laugh and all the great times we had working together at Amerimax. I remember how much she loved her husband Bruce and her family. I will miss her beautiful heart and how she cared for others.

CARLENE Always enjoyed family get togethers. She loved to watch the birds she would feed in her back yard.She had a good sense of humor  and I will never forget her laughter. I also know how much she loved  children. I loved her and will her. Till  we meet again during the resurrection as promised by Jehovah God.

I couldn’t believe it when I first saw her name. I am so sorry Bruce for the great loss. I also feel great sorrow for Lisa and Phil. She is now up in heaven carrying on with Bryan Kelly Yingst, that you can bet on! I wish I could say something to ease you and your family’s pain!
