Carole Warfield Michael, 73

September 12, 2018

“Devoted wife, mother and grandmother”.
Carole Warfield Michael, of Lititz, Pa., passed away on September 12, 2018 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy, Pa., after a battle with cancer.
Carole was born on January 11, 1945. She was raised in Mt. Airy, Md. It was in Maryland where she met her spouse of 54 years, Charles “Arch” Michael. Soon after marrying, they moved to Lititz and became immersed in the community.
Carole took to heart her role as mother and biggest supporter of her three boys, Charles “Mike” (partner Nidhi Dobosh) of Lititz, Timothy (spouse Tori) of New Market, Md., and Todd (spouse Megan) of Lake Bluff, Ill.
Carole also enjoyed the years she worked at Luther Acres Healthcare Center and Wertsch Vision Associates. But it was after retirement that Carole really got to spend her time doing what she loved best: going to the beach, spoiling her grandchildren, taking pictures, baking cookies and banana bread and being a supportive friend.
In addition to her husband and boys, Carole is also survived by her brother, Thomas Neff (spouse Cheryl) of Mt. Airy, and her six beloved grandchildren: Alexandra, Hilton, Zachary, Wesley, Matty and Finley.
A celebration of Carole’s life will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the General Sutter Inn in Lititz Pa. from 2:00pm to 6:00pm EST.
Carole had a deep love for the Lititz community and highly admired the first responders who keep it safe. In lieu of flowers, Carole requested that memorial donations be made to the Lititz Fire Department at Lititz Fire Company No. 1, 24 West Main Street, P.O. Box 391, Lititz, PA 17543.

Arch and Family~
Our hearts go out to all of you. I would venture a guess that she is strolling the best beaches EVER and you’ll all see her once again. As long as your heart continues to beat, she lives on and on. Blessings to you all.

Quietly, softly, gently the Angel of Death visits and mercifully delivers everlasting peace.  Arch and family please know you are on my mind and in my heart remembering Carole and laughter at Woodridge.  “And so the catepiller thought it’s life was over when it went into the cocoon, only to emerge anew and free as the beautiful butterfly.”  So to is Carole.  Thinking of you, Cindy Thompson

Dear Arch, Mike, Tim, Todd, and family,
Words cannot begin to convey the deepest of sympathy for you all, and certainly also for Carole’s brother Tom. Our hearts ache for all of you. Your wife, Arch, and mother-Mike, Tim, and Todd – was a beautiful person in so many ways. We shared many special times together in Mt. Airy and at other family gatherings. MARCIA and I cherish the fun we had when we visited you all.
Time passed so quickly and I was shocked to learn this afternoon that your wife and mother lost her battle with cancer. She was a special cousin indeed, and I know how much she loved you all and the great love she had for you all.
There are places in the heart where memories live and love endures. May you all find comfort and peace from the memories and love in your hearts. And may you find strength from the sympathy and concern of those who care deeply.
God bless you all and be with you in these difficult times. Be assure of our prayers for you ll.

Love,
(Cousin)Kirk and Marcia Colton
