Carolyn S. Hefton, 83, of Cochranville, passed away December 19, 2016. Born December 29 in Media, PA, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Howard B. Steigelman and Victoria C. Lesley. She was the wife of the late Paul Hefton, Jr.
Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her pets, gardening and her horses.
She is survived by her children: Sandy Smith of Cochranville, Paul “Fred” Hefton, Jr (Patricia). of Cochranville and Mary Baumgart of Essington; her grandchildren: Karol, Paul “Joe”, Heather Louise, Desiree, David and Stevie. In addition she is survived by a host of great- grandchildren.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be sent to the Chester County SPCA 1212 Phoenixville Pike West Chester, PA 19380.
