Catherine M. Kuster, 84

Catherine M. (Droney)  Kuster, 84, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Lancashire Hall, where she had resided for the past 5 ½ years.

Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of the late John A. Kuster, who passed away in 2007, and the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosabelle (Creswell) Droney

Raised by her Aunt Mame and Uncle Horace (Kuhns), she was a loving wife and mother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was a devoted housewife and friend.

She was a lifelong member of the historic St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons:  Richard T. and Patrick M. Kuster, both of Lancaster; seven grandchildren:  Bryan, Timothy, Robert, Anthony, Andrew, and Matthew Kuster, and Amy Jo Atkins; and ten great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, John J. Kuster; a daughter-in-law, Jeanne M. Kuster, and was the last of her brothers and sisters.

A Christian Prayer Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster PA with The Rev. Leo Goodman III officiating.
