I have no words other than I love you! My heart hurts for you. The world lost a great and kind soul. But Heaven is real and they are celebrating! Chuck has no pain and he is dancing with Jesus. He is hiking and walking and he is with Bob. This life is but a breath but Heaven is eternity and you will be with your boys again someday!
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you. We are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Mahler,
We are truly saddened by the loss of Chuck. We hope that the Lord has healed him and he can finally walk and run again after 8 1/2 years. Deb and I stopped coming to see him because he let us know that he didn’t like us seeing him in the state that he was in and we respected his wishes. The guys at Briarcrest ( (where Chuck worked for a year and a half) were truly surprised and saddened by his death.
Even though he was the ex husband of Anne, my ex as well, I really liked him and thought he was a really good and honest guy. We will miss Chuck and we pray that the Lord comforts both you and the surviving family in your time of grief.
It is a painful loss, I am sure. I kept his job slot open for 5 years, just in case.
Respectfully,
Joel and Debra Schelling
