May 20, 2015
Chuckie Magee, 23, of Lititz, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, after he had been fighting undifferentiated pleomorphic bone sarcoma. He was born in Lancaster on the beautiful day of March 14, 1992, and is the loving son of Charles A., III and Beverly Horn Magee of Lititz.
Chuckie was a 2013 graduate of Warwick High School. He worked at Roma Pizza and loved helping to make pizza and greet the customers. He played both Challenger baseball and Challenger football. He was also involved with Best Buddies, Council for Exceptional Children, Aarons Acres, Schreiber’s Teen Scene, and Excentia. He attended church at Lancaster Alliance. He was happiest when he was riding bike to the park with his parents, sister, and brother in law or going out to pizza with his friends. He will be remembered for his innocent glow and the light of life he unselfishly gave to others.
Chuckie was known by many in the community of Lititz and impacted all he met. He had such a love for life and taught everyone he met the meaning of humanity and how to be joyful. Chuckie was most recognized by his contagious smile and bubbly personality. No matter the circumstances he always managed to be happy and loved anyone who would take the time to say hello. Chuckie was a special young man and is now a special angel watching over us. He will forever be known for the Chuckie Strong movement.
In addition to his parents, is his sister, Kate L., wife of Scott A. Groves, Hershey, PA, his nephew Jaxson Charles Groves, also of Hershey; paternal grandmother P. Lynne Magee, Lititz, PA, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

I met Chuckie while working at Aaron’s Acres. Although I never got the opportunity, to work 1 on 1 with him I just wanted you to know how much he impacted my life and inspired me, like all the kids at Aaron’s Acres do. His smile made me and all around him smile smile. I will keep your entire family in my daily prayers during this difficult time.
