Charlotte M. Arbogast, 92

Charlotte M. Arbogast, 92, of Luther Acres, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, PA, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017. Born in West Pittston, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Frederick A. Muschlitz and Elizabeth J. (Boyer) Muschlitz.
She was married to the late Dr. Karl F. Arbogast, Jr., who passed away in January 2015.
Charlotte was a devoted and influential member of First Presbyterian Church of Wilkes-Barre, PA and also sang in the choir.
Charlotte graduated from Wyoming Seminary in 1944 and then later graduated from Syracuse University in 1948. She worked for Filine’s Basement in Boston, MA as a merchandiser and then later moved back to Pennsylvania to be with her family, where she met her husband, Karl. Charlotte was a devoted wife and mother. In her spare time, Charlotte enjoyed sailing, water color artistry, and music. She was a life member of the Harvey’s Lake Yacht Club and a member of Cider Painters of America. Charlotte and Karl later moved to Luther Acres where they resided for the past 17 years.
Charlotte is survived by her two sons; Karl F. and Susan Arbogast of Plains, PA and Mark A. Arbogast of Lancaster, PA.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11:30AM in the Good Samaritan Chapel of Luther Acres, 600 E. Main St., Lititz, PA 17543 with Chaplain Walt Cleckley officiating. Friends and family will be received from 10:30-11:30AM on Monday at Luther Acres. Interment in Union Cemetery, Slatington, PA on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Charlotte may be made to your local Alzheimer’s Association.

Mrs. Arbogast was such a vibrant woman. I loved her personality, art work, and her indoor swimming pool…😘😘😘.
