In addition to his wife, Cheryl, Clarence’s family includes their sons, Christopher L. Herr of Lancaster, and Clarence E. Herr, III, husband of Tana (Schnetzka) of Pequea, daughter Amy M. Herr of Conestoga; five grandchildren, Brandie, wife of Kyle Stoltzfus, Nicholas Kauffman, Charles Temple, IV, Katie Kauffman, and Tyrell Washington; two great-grandchildren, Brantley Stoltzfus and Cameron Carpenter; and his siblings, C. In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence L. Herr and Jay l. Herr, and his sister Patricia Simmons.

Clarence’s family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm, followed by the memorial service at 4 pm, on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory in Willow Street, located at 2421 Willow Street Pike.

Condolences to the Family

I just stumbled across this and I am so sorry to hear of Clarence’s passing. He was such a sweet soul and I always could count on him for a smile. Though I’m no longer part of the family, he’ll always be my uncle Clarence. Love and hugs to you all. Cheryl my heart breaks for you. I think you know how to get in touch with me if you need to. Amy darling, my little kid sister, you know I’m always hugging you no matter where you are. When you need it, my hug is there. Again, my deepest condolences for the loss of this terrific person from this earth. I guess heaven needed a good car guy and he just had to go when called.
