Cynthia Ann Sharpe, 75

November 24, 2023

Cynthia Ann Sharpe, also known as Mam-Maw, 75, of Millersville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Penn Medicine -Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Betty J (Smith) Sharpe. She was the wife of Kenneth R. Flosser for 30 years.

Cynthia was a member of Penn Manor High School’s class of 1966. She retired from the housekeeping department of Millersville University. She enjoyed sitting on her deck and watching the birds come to her many bird feeders. She loved to watch the Hallmark Channel; she would have every TV in her home tuned into it. She loved being at the beach and looking at lighthouses. She enjoyed going to car shows with Ken and going for rides on their Harley. Daily she worked crossword puzzles and spent time studying the Bible and in prayer. Most importantly she loved her family and spending time with them, especially with her grandchildren. She was a light in their lives, and they will miss her dearly.

In addition to her husband, Ken, she is survived by her daughters, Christine (Clint) Dixon and Jody (Mike) Shearer; her step children, Rose and Ryan Flosser; her siblings, Janis Nissly, Stanley Sharpe, Jill Rothweiler, John (Karen) Sharpe, James (Joy) Sharpe, and Elizabeth (John) Sangrey; her sister-in-law, Linda Galligan; her grandchildren, Jackie, Bill and Josh; and her great-grandchildren, Carter, Lyncoln, Kobe, McKenna, Austin, Savannah, and Madison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Kenneth Sharpe and Jean Peifer; and her beloved dog, Lily.

Services are being held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cynthia’s name to a charity that had a special place in her heart, Jews for Jesus through the following link: https://jewsforjesus.org/.

Cindy was one of the sweetest people I knew. I will cherish all the days/evenings spent in her kitchen or on her deck laughing and drinking coffee.
Many years ago she invited me to her home for Christmas when I was without my family and she even gave me gift. I don’t think kshe knew how much that ment meant to me.Her kindness was unmatched and she is truly missed.
