I was saddened to find that Danny is gone. He and I went to G.A. together, starting in the sixth grade. He became my best friend that year, after my family had moved, and I was struggling to adjust to everything changing in my life. His bright smile and warmth assured me that everything would be O.K. He was so much fun to be with!
He came over for the day one Saturday, and we went to Tookany Creek Park and for hours we played catch with a miniature rubber football he had brought. Through my whole life I have no fonder memory than of being with Danny that day.
Thank you, thank you for raising that wonderful boy! My heart goes out to you, even after these years since his passing. Bless you all.

To the bright star of intellect and forward thinking who devised that helicopters would fly the sick, that babies could be born under water, and who ran with The Second Alarmers to help accident victims. Handsome, driven, deep, intense, loving his dogs, he flashed through life with that stylish smirk and deep brown eyes. He will always be remembered with warm thoughts as the special person he was. Susan M Shigo, of The Second Alarmers too.
We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
