Condolences to the Family

March 10, 2017

Tom and Bonnie, so sorry to hear of the loss of your father.  I think of him often – I have my great grandmother’s chair that he so kindly agreed to repair for me.  It sits in my living room where I see it every day and it brings back memories.
Ian and Aubree (my new nextdoor neighbors), the loss of grandparents leaves a hole in a grandchild’s heart.
My sympathy to all of you and your extending family.    Kay Todd

My dad, Joe Brown, is planning to come to the funeral tomorrow, if it’s not snowing. He is in assisted living at Brethren Village and is planning on having a driver bring him to the funeral. He wanted the family to know that he was a good friend of Dan’s when they were at New Holland together. Dad was a VP and General Counsel at NH when he and Dan worked together and they went on a number of trips together. Dad is very sorry to hear of his passing. Joe Brown’s daughter, Peg Brown Kay

Dearest Aunt Mary Susan and Family,
My heart goes out to you all on the loss of your Husband, Dad, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Uncle Dan will be sorely missed but his memory shall live on in all of us as the Grand Beachmaster.
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we all feel about Uncle Dan’s death. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in all your hearts.

Dear Dilley Family,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Dan was always so bright and cheerful when he entered my office in the Welcome Center at Lancashire Terrace.  He loved to tease and so did I.  I am so glad to have had the opportunity to know him.  His spark and wit will be greatly missed.  Even though I only knew him for a short time I could tell that you all have wonderful memories to draw on during this time of grief.  May God’s presence surround you at this time.   Jean at Lancashire Terrace Retirement Village
