Daniel L. Rodriguez, 65, of Lititz passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Born in New York City, NY he was the son of the late Manuel Rodriguez and the late Petra (Olmedo) Viruet. He had shared over 13 years of marriage with Mitzi (Baker) Rodriguez.

He grew up in NYC and lived in Florida for over 25 years before moving to Lititz. Daniel was most recently employed by General Mills as a sales representative and had previously worked for Pfizer for many years. He enjoyed the beach in Ft. Lauderdale and just being on a beach enjoying the sun. Daniel was a big Hershey Bears fan and was a huge movie buff enjoying films such as When Harry Met Sally and The Godfather. A true family man, Daniel and his wife were a true unit and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice & Community Care for the exceptional care that was given to Daniel during his illness.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Karen Rodriguez, of Las Vegas, NV, Keith Costa, husband of Katie, of Sunrise, FL, Kyle Seese, of Pine Grove, Bethany Bond, wife of Christopher, of Manheim and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Manuel and John Rodriguez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, PA 17543 with Rev. James O’Blaney C.Ss.R. as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received from 7-9PM on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA and again one hour prior to the mass at the church on Tuesday. Interment in Witness Park. Flowers will be received. Donations in Daniel’s memory may also be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
