Ernie,
Very saddened to hear of Darlene’s passing. She was a kind and generous lady. I still remember the Halloween party you had for us kids back in 1961 and it was my first taste of apple cider. To live in one’s heart is never to die.

We never had the chance to get close. I remember seeing Uncie when I worked out in Strasburg and always asked about you… I will always remember the few Christmas’ at your home. I will always remember the homecooked smell and how cozy it felt.
Please tell my dad I miss him!
