Deborah Ann (Clinton) Gerlach, 63
February 15, 2024
Deborah (“Debbie”) Ann (Clinton) Gerlach, 63, of Annville, went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Born in Roslindale, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. Clinton Sr. and Bette A, (Meleo) Clinton. She raised her family in Massachusetts, before relocating to Pennsylvania where she resided for over 20 years.
Deborah had worked for the past year and a half as a Greeter at Walmart in Palmyra. She previously lived in Massachusetts, and worked as a nurses aide at Ridgewood Court Nursing and Rehab Center in Attleboro.
During her time in Lancaster, she was active at Christ Lutheran Church, and more recently was a member of GraceLife Church in Annville, and spent time attending Bible studies in her community. She enjoyed cribbage, gardening, being outdoors, bingo, and crochet. She found joy in giving to others, and had also volunteered with Toys For Tots. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Often driving many hours to Maine and Massachusetts, no road trip was too long if it meant spending time with her family. She loved her cat, Princess, and she had a big heart for all animals. She was known to spoil the pets of her children and other family members.
Deborah is survived by her brother David married to Alicia Clinton of Keene, NH and her sister Kimberly James of Attleboro, MA. She was preceded in death by her brothers, the late Robert J. Clinton, Jr. and William J. Clinton, Sr. She is also survived by her children & their families: Kristi Lee Reitzel of Manheim Twp, PA, William J. Smith Jr. married to Kimmy Smith of Lancaster, Melanie A. Boisvert (McInnis) married to Josh Boisvert of Monmouth, ME, Patrick A. McInnis and Matthew M. McInnis, both of Boston, MA.
She also leaves behind her 6 grandchildren: William, Robert, Caleb, David, Addison and Mallorie, and her nieces and nephews: Robert J. Clinton III, William J Clinton Jr, Spencer, Grace & Olivia Clinton, Cheryl James, Colin Duffy and Carter James-Gomez, as well as extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 7-9PM at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA. All are invited to attend Deborah’s Celebration of Life Service on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11AM from GraceLife Church, Route 755 PA 934, Annville, PA 17003, with a reception to follow.

Deb was a remarkable woman whom I had the pleasure to call a friend during some of her time living in MA. I worked w/Deb as a CNA at Ridgewood and she was very supportive in helping me obtain my RN. I still use the carpet bag she gave me for my school books. Her children were her biggest priority and I remember both Patrick and Mathew being born. Melanie was one of my daughter Meaghan’s first BFF’s. Many hours spent poolside in South Attleboro at her home. I’m truly sorry for the loss they must feel.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I met her while working at the same Walmart and talking to her always brightened my day. She also helped me figure out how the food pantry worked at a time when I struggled to afford groceries. Her kindness is an inspiration. Sarah

So sorry for your loss. I only met Debbie in person once, but I remember her unfailing kindness. Many years ago she invited me to her (then) home in Massachusetts to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with her brother (and my best friend) David. I was immensely moved by her generosity and caring attitude. Rest in peace…
