Deborah A. Sultzbach, 75, of Lancaster, entered eternal rest on Aug. 22, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late James E. Foehl and Margaret Witmer. She was the devoted wife of Cyril F. Sultzbach Jr. until his passing in 2016.
Deb will be remembered by many for her dedicated years at Donnelly Printing, Engle Printing and J.L. Clark. She was a hard worker that dedicated herself to her family. Her family will cherish the memories they shared with her as their mother and loving grandmother. She would always lend a helping hand to someone in need and was also known as Dr. Dolittle for her care and love of animals she rescued and rehabilitated.
Her memory will live on in all who knew and loved her including her daughters, Shelly, wife of Ernest L. Miller, Sr. of Peach Bottom, and Tammy L. Sultzbach of Lancaster, 10 grandchildren, as well as numerous great grandchildren and siblings, Peggy Hull, Jimmy Foehl, Roy Bender, and Bobby Witmer. She was preceded in passing by her husband, sons, Cyril F. Sultzbach III, and Brian K. Sultzbach, and siblings, Larry Stark and Bonnie Foltz.
The family will receive guests from 12-1 PM on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584, with a memorial service beginning at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.

Condolences to the Family

Hi. I was Deb’s neighbor & friend (the one that used to have the Rottweilers). I was in FL when Deb passed away, & I didn’t even know of her passing until one of her daughters put her memorial program in our mailbox the other day. Thank you so much for that. I was shocked & heart broken when I got the news. I’m so sorry I didn’t know sooner. I’m sending my condolences to the family.
Deb meant so much to me. She was so sweet, & loved animals just as much as I do. I loved when we would spot each other outside because we would stand outside & chat (usually for a good long while). I will miss her so much! I pray that you’re all doing ok, & I’m so very sorry for your family’s loss. If you’d like to keep in touch, my ph# is 717-333-1521.
