Deborah J. Axe, 70

Deborah J. Axe, 70, of Potter County, passed away on March 18, 2023 at her daughter’s residence.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Krushinski) Kendig. She was the wife of James “Jim” Axe. In May they would have been married for 43 years.
Deborah loved traveling, especially to the beach. She would often visit Ocean City, MD. She enjoyed being in the company of others. She would go shopping and to lunch with her friends. But above all else, she loved spending time with her family. She loved her grandbabies and great grandbabies and the memories she was able to make with them.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; four sons, Spencer Wingenroth and wife Debbie, of Lancaster, Craig Wingenroth and wife Amber, of Lancaster, Jim Axe Jr., of Lancaster, Scott Metz and wife Angie, of East Hempfield; one daughter, Krista Pelletier and husband Dan, of Lititz; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of Deborah’s life come warmer weather.
