My husband, Jim Whitehead, was employed at Southern Container while Diane and her sister, Peggy, were working there as well. I got to meet both sisters when birthday parties, etc. were held in the office for staff and adminstration. Both ladies were a delight to chat and party with. Jim and I would enjoy hearing from Peggy and are so sorry we were not aware of the passing of Diane. Our deepest sympathy to both families. Sincerely, Marlene Whitehead. (Luther Acres in Lititz

We are neighbors a few doors away from Diane’s home, and enjoyed many friendly conversations when she was out walking. We will miss her. We know her family was very important to her, she talked about you, and you have our deepest sympathy.

That was a beautiful video tribute. Our sincere condolences in the passing of your mother. Death brings a heartache that seems impossible to heal. Faith brings an assured hope that God’s promise at 1 Cor 15:29, the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing, is a reality.

Joanna and Mark, we are very sorry to hear about your mother passing away. We met your mother and Dad when our daughter, Heidi, and you, Joanna, both started school at Buchanan! Your mother and I shared many happy hours involved in volunteer activities over the years. She loved both of you very much and was always eager to be involved in your activities. She was always “all heart”. She will be missed by many. Our family is so glad we knew her. God bless you. Kathy and Barry Nissly and family

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Diane was one of my classmates and friends from Penn Manor. In fact we went to school from Kindergarten forward. “Digger” ……HS nickname (we had some crazy ones) was a good friend and a sweetheart. I am shocked and very saddened by her passing. You have my deepest sympathy. While we were not in close contact, I will miss her and think of her often. With love,
Dona (Axe) “Worm” Crouse
