Dolores Theresa (Cozzone) Christmas, 68

Dolores Theresa (Cozzone) Christmas, 68, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Rosalyn (DeLoretta) Warren, the late Quidie Cozzone, and the late Arthur Warren, Jr.
Dolores had worked as a secretary at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lancaster where she was a devoted member of the parish and music ministry.
Dolores enjoyed reading, cooking, and playing piano. She also loved the beach and especially enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and dog. Her smile would instantly light up a room, and many people were moved by her gentle, loving, generous nature.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two daughters, Elisabeth Christmas and Amy Christmas Halteman, both of Lancaster, a granddaughter, Elisa Halteman, a brother, Ronald Cozzone, of Terre Hill, and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Christmas and son Matthew Christmas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Monday, July 7, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will be held from 9-10:30AM on Monday at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Very sorry to hear of Dolores’s death. She has been in my prayers for many months and I’m sure, you all must feel her peace now . It seems only yesterday we were kids at St.Cecilia’s together.
