Donald A. Weaver, 81
July 18, 2015
Donald A. Weaver, 81, of Lancaster, died peacefully at Ephrata Manor on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Born in Terre Hill, he was the son of the late Allen H. and Reba (Harsh) Weaver. Don joins his loving wife of 47 years, Nila E. (Stauffer) Weaver, who died this past January.

He truly was a terrific storyteller and a highly intelligent man. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, fishing at Lewes, DE, reading, and walking.
Don is survived by his step-daughter Elaine Alexander, wife of the late Robert of Arlington, WA. He is also survived by eight siblings: James Weaver, husband of Doris; Dawn Styer, wife of Raymond; Pat Ream; Betty Schwartz, wife of Walter; Harold Weaver, husband of Christa; Wilma McCann, wife of David; Bruce Weaver, husband of Edith; and Elaine Cline.

I wish I could have been with you this morning to celebrate Donnie’s life. I have so many wonderful memories when we visited at the farm. Probably my earliest memory was Donnie lifting weights in the egg room. Lainie, we must have been very young and little….. Donnie seemed so big! What a great guy! He will be missed. Prayers for comfort for you all. May you feel Jesus’ arms surround you. love, Barb Culbertson Finley
