Uncle Don was a wonderful man and a terrific uncle. His conversations were engaging and interesting. His love for his family was so obvious. I enjoyed chatting with him. A few years ago he and Judy came to visit. He was a true Pittsburgh tourist riding the incline up to Mt. Washington. I was not surprised when he finished his entire Primanti sandwich. He had such a love for life. Yes, he will be missed by everyone who knew him. Sleep in peace, my dear uncle. Love to my cousins.

Uncle Don is wonderful. I remember the fun days dating back to the NJ house as children. It was great seeing him in recent years at the reunion and talking about the Aramark days and the hotel industry.Uncle Don was always genuinely interested in whatever was being discussed. His kindness and laugh are now in heaven.

My uncle Don taught me to ride a bike. He also showed me how my Schwinn Stingray (that I thought was so cool) was slower than my sister Mary’s bike. I was lucky to have such a great uncle. Live to my cousins and their families.

So sad to hear of Uncle Don’s passing. He and Aunt Willa were always very prominent and in touch with our family and most especially our mom, Uncle Don’s sister Carole. Uncle Don was a wonderfully caring man and will be greatly missed.
